Will my entire donation go to supporting the School of Civic Leadership at UT?
Yes, the sole beneficiary of any funds donated to the SCL Foundation is the School of Civic Leadership at UT Austin. The Foundation’s Board of Directors works closely with the Dean to determine the amount, timing, and use of all funds sent to the School.
Do you sell or share my contact information?
No. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with anyone without your permission.
What is the difference between giving to the SCL Foundation and to the University?
All donations made to the SCL Foundation and the University are tax deductible, receive the same credit acknowledgement from the University, and benefit the School of Civic Leadership.
Funds donated to the Foundation will be managed by independent investment professionals selected by the Foundation’s Board once certain asset thresholds are met and will be audited regularly by independent auditors.
Funds donated to the University are held by the UT System Board of Regents and managed by UTIMCO.
